04 / Surface & depth

Texture.
A surface that holds the light.
05 / A mineral expression
An impression of the natural.
Stone Effect explores mineral imagery through decorative glass. Veining, tonal variation and areas of quieter colour offer ways to compose a wall or a focal surface. Begin with the proportion of the whole installation, then use the selected detail to establish how much movement the space needs.

The archive provides a mineral visual direction rather than a claim that the surface is natural stone. Review the appearance, background and intended lighting together before selecting a finish.
01Material gallery
A vein may lead the eye across a panel or become a feature within a smaller area. Panel breaks and the direction of the imagery influence whether the composition reads as continuous or deliberately divided.

02Customisation directions
Stone Effect
Compare overall movement with close detail. Choose a visual direction that supports the room’s scale and surrounding palette.
Stone Effect
Review panel divisions against the image. Discuss continuity and the treatment of corners before developing the artwork.

If illumination is part of the brief, review it with the sample and proposed assembly rather than relying on a lit photograph.
03Recommended applications
Consider feature walls and hospitality interiors where a broad surface can hold an image or a tonal composition. Bathroom references can also inform a material discussion, with the application requirements confirmed separately.
