04 / Surface & depth

Texture.
A surface that holds the light.
Material & architectural perspectives
A quieter sense of space.
Bathroom material choices bring privacy, light and close-range detail into the same discussion. Review the glass within the full palette of walls, fittings and lighting, with attention to the views into and through the space.

Decorative surfaces offer ways to vary the visual presence of an enclosure or panel. Pattern and texture can bring detail to an otherwise quiet palette, while colour can provide a connection to surrounding finishes.

↗Design considerations
Texture and Pattern provide different visual starting points. Stone Effect can connect to a mineral palette. Review samples with adjacent finishes and confirm suitability for the exact installation.
Review visibility under the intended lighting from both sides. A photograph alone cannot establish the privacy required for the room.
Confirm the glass build-up, supports, junctions and other relevant requirements with the project team for the intended wet-area use.
Discuss finish compatibility, cleaning access and maintenance expectations before selecting the final material and assembly.
